Twill dutch weave is similar to plain dutch weave, except that the weave pattern is twill, with a double layer of weft wires.
There are no apertures in the true sense of the word, and the filtrate follows a sinuous path through the depth of the wire cloth. In order to compensate the instability of this kind of weave, the interlacement direction is regularly reversed and usually known as reverse twill weaved wire mesh (herring-bone weave). Dutch weave has high level of mechanical load, high level of flow and minimal pressure drop.
